BREATHE AT THE BEACH

Providing Wellness, Accessibility, and Support

Even a moment of mindful breath, in stillness or motion, brings unity to the mind and body.  This is the definition of yoga: Union.


With a consistent yoga practice, the nervous system shifts from less of a sympathetic ("fight or flight") state to more of a parasympathetic ("rest and digest") state.  The goal and mission behind my Bodywork services and Yoga offerings is to balance the nervous system.  The body cannot heal in a stressful state, so we start here by activating the parasympathetic nervous system through breathwork, meditation, and gentle movement.


I welcome you to practice with us.  You don't need experience with yoga, terminology, or fitness, you only need an open mind.

I'm a Rocky Mountain girl who fell in love with beach life after moving from Colorado in 2005. I am a licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, a certified Yoga instructor with 200RYTT hours, and a Certified Personal Trainer. Recently, I've added Trauma-Sensitive Practices to my ever-evolving knowledge base in hopes of bringing more healing services to this community.  With a background in teaching, I find Private Yoga and Personal Training sessions to be a fulfilling opportunity to help you find what works for your body at this stage in life.  We are always changing and no two days are the same.  I enjoy developing a customized plan for you, to help you find your own "sweet spot" of just the right amount of challenge and playful discovery.  

Balance is not something we find, it's something we create.  

Some of my specialties include:  assisted stretching, cupping therapies, manual lymphatic drainage,  myofascial release, and Thai massage.

Hands down the best yoga instructor I’ve gone to. Calm energy, incredible ability to deliver instruction to a variety of skill levels, and classes are always fun. I’ve gone to Kathryn’s Brewery yoga, and goat yoga, and recently just went to her beach yoga on Holden beach. AMAZING!!!

What  a wonderful experience! We did yoga Monday and Wednesday this week, and  highly recommend it! The perfect mix of challenging and relaxing, and  we all left feeling refreshed. We had a variety of ages (25-63)and  levels with us, from a first timer to people who practice regularly and  all felt comfortable and challenged. We will definitely be back next  year on our annual visit!
